When a young Jewish man tries to make his recently deceased mother’s Passover recipe for a pandemic Seder, he discovers he must re-connect with his estranged brother to find the recipe. They both realize the best way to honor their mom is by doing the only thing that makes sense: Cooking. Beefies is a comedic short about family, connection, and trying not to burn down your kitchen.

Adam Lebowitz-Lockard is an actor, writer, director, and teacher based out of Los Angeles. He made his TV debut on FOX in The Pine Tar Incident, has appeared in The Shrink Next Door on Apple TV+, and has sketches on Funny Or Die with his sketch group Desperate Times. His stage work has been seen at the Whitney Museum, Primary Stages, The Flea Theater, American Repertory Theater, Williamstown Theater Festival, Smith St. Stage, and many many theaters throughout Los Angeles. At the start of the pandemic, he created the production company OmiKatyMe to tell Jewish stories with passion, joy, and grace.
