Our site uses adaptive bit-rate streaming to deliver the highest quality media that your internet connection and device can handle. Optimally, you'll see a high-definition picture up to 1080p with stereo audio. While you're streaming, we'll monitor your bandwidth to make certain you're getting the best stream possible - if your connection and/or device require, we'll adapt and send an appropriate stream to optimize your viewing experience.

Titles can be watched on your computer browser, tablet, or smartphone.

If you have a tablet, laptop or smartphone with internet connection and you have a TV with an empty HDMI slot, you can connect your device to your TV. NOTE: this may require an adapter that works with your specific equipment. Simply pull up the SLOJFF.com website on your laptop, tablet or smart phone, mirror your screens and watch the festival films and events that way.

This may be due to the internet provider you use and the available bandwidth you have. Sometimes, if you clear the cache on your computer, laptop or phone - whichever device you are using, you can make the speed of your internet work faster, allowing for a cleaner download of the movies.

Absolutely. If you pause the movie, it will keep your place for a period of time. If you stop the film, when you return, the film will pick up where you left off.

With this platform, we sell tickets for one device at a time which enables you to watch your selection(s) with family and friends. During the live festivals at the Palm Theater, everyone was required to buy their own ticket, so this is an added advantage of the Virtual Festival.

Of course, if a group of you are having a terrific time watching the films and would like to express your appreciation with a donation, we'd be delighted!  Simply go to the MENSCHES, and follow the instructions for making a donation.  THANKS!

The films are available for you to watch as many times as you want from January 9–30, 2022. Just be sure you finish watching all the films before midnight the 30th so that you don't miss out on any of them.

To watch the films, you will need to login using the same email address and password that you used to create your SLOJFF account and to buy your ticket or pass. Once you login, navigate to the FILMS tab, select the movie you want to watch and click play.

The web embedded player opens up and allows you to adjust volume, enable/disable caption (for selected films), video quality and other settings at the bottom.

For many of the films, the subtitles are baked in and you don't need to do anything. For a few films, the subtitles are not baked in and you have a choice to enable/disable. To enable/disable subtitles in those cases, please click the CC button at the bottom of the player and then select the language your prefer.

Sorry, the SLOJFF films are geo restricted and available for viewing in North America only.

When you start the film, the system automatically puts the film on mute, and it is up to you to turn on the sound.  You will see at the bottom left of the screen, you will see a small speaker icon with an X next to it.  Simply click on that icon and it will allow you to hear the sound and adjust it to your preference.

Nope. The fees the festival pays to the credit card companies and the distributors are built into the ticket price without any additional cost to you.

We accept Apple Pay, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, JCB and American Express.

Wow! That's great. Go to the Mensches page and follow the instructions to donate. Give to your heart's content!  We truly appreciate your support.

You are exactly correct. The SLO Jewish Film Festival is just one of the many events/activities hosted by the JCC. Visit  jccslo.com to learn more about the organization, how you can be a part of the community by joining, and what you can do to support the ongoing activities of the organization.
